Fairy Garden

It was such a nice day outside today I decided to do a little garden project...fairy garden! So I enlisted the help of my younger brother Matthew and we got to work!

Supplies:
Pot $23.99
Soil
Saucers about $1.00 for both
Pea Gravel
Mississippi River Rock
Twigs for arch
Small Clay pot $1.39
Moss
Plants:Jeans Dilly Miniature Tree $13.99
          Asparagus Fern  $1.50
          Other filler plants $2.50 each.

Once we got the pot filled with soil we laid out our landscape, planted the "trees," and laid our path with pea gravel.

We made a little arch out of some twigs added some larger rocks for accents and filled in the brown spots with some live moss-such a cool product! It was such a fun and easy project-especially good for kids.

Miniature Fairy Gardens

If you don't have a big enough container or just want to keep things small, feel free to make a miniature fairy garden!

Here are some pictures of ones that Derek and Nicole made up which are for sale at Sunrise.

The large fairy garden displayed next to the miniature ones for size comparison.
